| Audit Defense is a burgeoning area of health care law.

care provider clients from the rampant major-medical audits
being conducted by some of the largest insurance companies
in the country. These companies routinely seek hundreds of
thousands of dollars in reimbursement from providers on the
allegation that, considering the billing and documentation,
the providers were overpaid over a certain number of years a
large sum of money. Our goal in defending providers is to
minimize their exposure to fraud referrals, vigorously
defending them against frivolous reimbursement claims or to
reduce as much as possible any reimbursement at times they
should make and remove as best as we can the clients’ fear
of having to close down their practices due to the blockage
of income, offsets and reduce the amount of time they have
